Wow...that title is creative!
Last night was the 3rd week in a series, That's Gonna Leave a Mark (Hopefully the Chris Farley voice runs through your head!) What a fun month it has been for me to give Randall a break while he adjusts to having 2 kids!
- It has been fun teaching several weeks in a row. I feel like I finally got a little rhythm going last night.
- Middle school students are really really fun. I want to punch them in the face sometimes...but in a really loving way! They have so much energy, but it's really a beautiful thing.
- Middle school worship is getting more and more engaging each week. I don't know what the turn has been, but it's been fun.
- John Garrison is a stud with games. He brings such awesome energy and really accomplishes the goal of breaking down walls and helping students feel connected and engaged.
- Shaving was successful. No beard pulling by the mic!
- I loved the excitement from many of the leaders about the scripture cards (just simple, cool looking cards with scripture on them for the students to take home with them). How exciting that so many students are going to be ingesting lots of these bits of truth.
- I am excited about some of our outreach opportunities. I can't wait to serve along side of some of these middle schoolers both in St. Louis and Chicago.
Great night and should be a great next couple of months!
